Information on fly fishing in the west of Ireland

I fished a competition from Ballindiff Bay last Monday. There were 32 anglers but only 7 fish caught. Plentiful duck fly hatches and even the first few olives. I saw a number of rising fish but never discovered what they were taking. Emerging duck fly I would guess but they laughed at my imitation. I've still not caught a trout this season yet!!!
